Vegetable Daliya

Ingredients 

  • ½ cup Daliya 
  • ½ cup moong dal 
  • ¼ cup carrot 
  • ¼ cup bottle guard 
  • ¼ cup tomato 
  • ½ tsp haldi
  • 1 tsp jeera powder
  • 1 tbsp sambhar masala
  • Green chilli – as per taste 
  • 1 tsp garlic 
  • 1 tsp rai  
  • 5-6 curry leaves
  • 1 tsp oil

Method 

  • Soak dailya and moong dal.
  • Heat oil in a pressure cooker. Add rai, curry leaves, grated garlic. Saute for 20 seconds.
  • Add carrot, bottle guard and tomato. Saute for 30-40 seconds.  
  • To this vegetable mixture add soaked daliya and dal. Add haldi, jeera powder, sambhar masala add salt. Mix it well and pressure cook for 5 whistles. Serve warm.
